Guidance for Financial Caregivers

Learn How we Help

Empowering the Financial Caregiver

Most nonprofits in the health and wellness sector focus on the medical and care needs of patients. They rarely address financial needs and the impact that chronic illness and disease can have on household finances. Social workers aren't always best equipped to provide in-depth financial education or coaching.

Pay4Care, a service of Consumer Debt Counselors, fills this void with programs designed to help families coping with the impact of chronic and terminal illness to manage the costs better and navigate complex systems like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Veteran Administration benefits, and private health insurance. We routinely help families coping with Alzheimer's Disease, dementia, cancer, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (also known as ALS, or Lou Gehrig's disease), Parkinson's disease, and frailty.
